Do I have to reserve
blocks of rooms?
No. You have complete control over your inventory. You can 'close'
or 'open' rooms as you wish. Rooms booked online automatically
update your inventory. You have to update the system for bookings
that you take personally.
Do I have
to be online all the time?
No. All changes and updates can be done offline. You only need
to synchronise when you've made a change, in the same way that
you would send an email. When you get notice of an online booking,
you synchronise to get the booking detail, straight into the nightsbridge
program.

Will this work from
my own website?
Yes. Guests visiting your own website will be able to check your
room availability, select a room and then book it immediately
with the link that we provide for your site. The booking pages
have your name and information on them. It is clear to guests
that you are taking the booking directly.
Can I use this with
more than one website?
You store your room availability in one place, but you can make
it available anywhere, to any websites you choose, for instance,
accommodation sites you already advertise with (and nightsbridge
partners with).
We know you're busy and we also know you advertise with more than
one site. We are forming partnerships with many of the popular
websites to ensure that you can use your availability information
in many places.
What does it cost?
A flat rate of R50 per month for admin, support and software updates,
plus R30 per room for the live links. So, for an average 5-bed
guest house, the cost would be R200 per month. This is payable
monthly — no need to sign a long contract. No commissions.
No installation fees. No hidden costs.
SPECIAL: Pay in advance for one year and receive two months free
(i.e. you pay only for 10 months).

How do I know an online
booking has been made?
You immediately get an email with the details, as well as a detailed
sms message to your cellphone. Online bookings automatically update
your availability.
Who does the guest pay?
You process the credit card details for the deposit yourself if
you have a credit card facility. The information is encrypted
for safety, but becomes available to you in the nightsbridge software
program. Or, if you don't have the facility, we can process the
credit card on your behalf.
Can I change
my room rates?
We help you to set up room types, as well as high and low season
internet rates. It is easy to change rates or set up specials
in the nightsbridge software on your computer. Rate changes are
instantly reflected.
What happens
if a guest cancels or amends their booking?
Bookings are made directly with you and guests need to cancel
with you directly. You need to update the central system if a
booking is cancelled — one easy step on your cellphone or
nightsbridge computer program.
The software program makes it very easy to add or delete rooms
or nights,
or to move guests to different rooms.
What does the cellphone
application do?
Being out of touch for a couple of hours can cost you a booking.
The cellphone application allows you to check your availability
from anywhere.
You can also add a new booking to update the central system without
even turning on your computer. It's fast and convenient - you'll
love it once you've used it.
What kind of
cellphones will this work with?
Cellphones that are Java™ and GPRS compatible. Most of the
newer phones have these features, including smaller models like
the Nokia 3100, 3200, 3510i and 5100.
